Our body enzymes require vitamins to carry out their work. These vitamins give us the energy which is required to digest food and convert food into body tissue. Fruits and vegetables are the best source of these important vitamins.

 

If these fruits and vegetables are eaten in liquid i.e. in form of juices, our body can easily absorb the vitamins as compared to having fruits and vegetables on the whole.

 

Let’s look at important things that should be kept in mind while preparing juices.

 

1. Always try and consume fresh fruits and vegetables.

 

2. Wash the fruit or vegetable thoroughly, and then cut it into pieces for making the juice.

 

3. Remove stem, seeds and skin before making the juices.

 

 

Let’s look at some healthy juices which you can have in morning breakfast.

 

Carrot juice

Ingredients

  • Fresh peeled carrot
  • Honey

 

Process

Cut carrot into small pieces and crush them in a mixer .Add one spoon of honey per glass of carrot juice.

Lemon juice

  • Fresh lime

Tomato juice

  • Fresh tomato

Process

Crush fresh tomatoes in a mixer .Add salt for taste.

Coriander juice

 

Ingredients

  • Fresh coriander
  • Buttermilk

 

Process

Crush coriander leaves in a mixer, to make 2 table spoon of juice and mix it in 1 glass of buttermilk.

Fruit juices

 

Apple strawberry juice

 

Ingredients

  • 5-6 apples
  • 1 cup strawberries

 

Process

Cut the apples up into sections, and crush all ingredients in a mixer.

 

 

Watermelon

Ingredients

  • Fresh watermelon

 

Process

Cut watermelon into sections and crush it in a mixer and serve.

 

Fruit Punch

Ingredients

  • 1 apple
  • 6 strawberries, fresh or thawed from frozen
  • 1/2 orange

 

Process

Peel the orange and cut into sections. Core the apple and cut it into sections. Process the fruit in your juicer and serve!
