Excess of sunlight can affect your eyes and can cause cataract. So, whenever you go out in the sun wear sunglasses and a hat to protect your eyes. Whenever you return from outside like office or from playing, do wash your hands and then your eyes. This would help to remove the dirt from the eyes and keep them healthy.
You have to get the right vitamins that help you keep your vision, and prevent it from getting worse. Eating blueberries is a must! It's amazing for the eyes, as well as other parts of your body. It keeps your eyes healthy, and helps your vision stay good, if not better. Carrots also help, due to the amounts of keratin in this delicious vegetable.
One of the most important steps is getting enough sleep. Get at least 8 hours of sleep each night. Not only will it help your eyes look vibrant, but it's also vital to keep the rest of your body healthy.
Instead of cooking with yellow onions, try cooking with red ones. Red onions contain large doses of quercetin, an antioxidant that helps fight cataracts.
Moving your Computerscreen so that it’s below your eye level will make sure that your eyes remain half-closed the whole time, thus preventing irritation and dry eyes.
Fish meat contains omega-3 fatty acids. These are great for preventing dry eye syndrome. If fish is not your thing, try taking fish oil supplements to get your dose of omega-3.
Spinach is one of the healthiest vegetables you can eat. It contains, among other things, an abundance of a nutrient called lutein. Lutein prevents cataracts. To maximize your lutein absorption, cook the spinach with olive oil.
