Apple Recipe
Apple Raisin Bread
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 cup rolled oats
1 1/2 cups grated apple
1/4 cup raisins
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Method
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Grease and flour an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, and oats. Add apple, raisins, eggs, milk, and oil. Mix until dry ingredients are moistened.
Put mixture into the greased pan and bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until done. Cool on wire rack.
